As a dog owner you are probably aware of the benefits of owning a dog kennel. They are great places to put your dog if you need him out of the way to get things done or if you have visitors who are not used to dogs. They also provide a secure spot for sleeping or resting, ensuring that he doesn’t feel stressed or on edge. This ‘security blanket’ is also great for preventing separation anxiety when you are out as he will know that he is safe in his kennel.
Though you may know all of these advantages to owning a kennel you may be unaware of the advantages of collapsible dog crates over other types of kennels. The first is that kennels, by their very nature, are quite large and tend to fill any room which they are in. If you don’t have a large amount of space in your house then a kennel which can be folded down when not in use is perfect. Folding dog crates are very easy to fold down and put up so very little effort is required to save yourself some space.
Another common use is by people who like to show their dogs as the crate can be folded up and put into a car still leaving plenty of space for the dog and other occupants. When the show ground is reached the crate can simply be unfolded and taken to the ringside area where the dog can wait in it for his turn.
If you are someone who loves to go visiting but always takes your pet with you then one of these crates is great. You can slip it into the car and then put it up at the home of your friend so that your dog has somewhere that he feels comfortable to rest or get away from it all.
