Obesity and weight loss

There is a food paradox in the modern society: we have a number of obese people (who eat too much in relation to the amount of physical effort they are putting out) which is almost equal to malnourished people (who do not eat or can not afford quality food). Also paradoxically, the human body more easily bears the burden of absence of nutrients, than the chronic excess of nutrients. To put it another way, it is more dangerous to be obese than to be thin.
Body fat distribution, by gender, is on different parts of the body so you may want to establish an exercise regimen that focuses on the areas of the body that have the excess of fat.
For men, fat is generally found on the upper body: neck, chest and upper abdomen. Buttocks and thighs only have a thin layer of fat.
For women it is generally the opposite: most of the fat is distributed on the lower body, so women need to shed weight from the buttocks, hips and thighs.
When you are “blessed” with extra pounds, we are talking about obesity, the android (male) or gynoid (female) body will generally follow these rules. But there are exceptions: there are gynoid men and android women. There are also both men and women where fat is distributed everywhere, both the upper and lower body. This can occur because of hormonal disorders induced by chemicals in food and environment, stress, medication, or wrong weight loss regimens, to mention a few causes.
Gynoid obesity is less dangerous to health than android obesity. In other words, obese women feel better and die less often than men, except in cases of android obesity in women.
This is because android fat is located deeper and it tends to envelop the heart and digestive organs and disturb their function. Gynoid fat is be found at the surface and does not disrupt the cardiovascular system.
There’s good news: the effects of obesity are largely reversible. Extra pounds can be burned off and internal organs can be rejuvenated. Even the blood vessels can be cleaned and helped to become elastic again. Obviously you cannot lose 20 pounds without working at it. Weight loss takes organization, patience, and changing one’s lifestyle.
