Hotel Cadiz: Get The Best

Cadiz is an interesting place to visit. This is a city that used to quite literally be the centre of the world. This was due to the fact that this was a major port in the times when the Americas were being discovered. Due to it’s history, the old town of Cadiz is a great example of an historic Spanish town to visit. Cadiz has an interesting location as the old town is build on a promontory that juts out in to the sea. The new part of the town is build along the stretch of road that runs parallel to the cities long beach.

So what to do when you visit Cadiz? Well, if you can find a good deal, I would highly recommend getting a hotel in the old town. You will be near the picturesque square, and will pretty much be able to see the sea at every turn due to the old towns positioning. If you want to laze on the beach, a short walk will have you on a far better beach than you find at the Costa Del Sol locations.

Not to far from your hotel Cadiz, you will be able to visit Jerez De La Frontera. Home of flamenco, white horse and Sherry the world famous fiestas held here are well worth a visit. Should you have longer in Cadiz and want to venture out further you could always hire a car and head inland to Seville. The enormous cathedral here is one of the largest in the world, and Seville has many beautiful streets, squares and shops for you to explore.

If you want a bit more of a genuine Spanish experience when visiting Andalucía, avoid the tourist areas along the Costas, and head for Cadiz and it’s holiday hotels and villas. You can indulge yourself in a little Spanish living and have all the better holiday as a result.
