Five Great Places to visit in London

London is a fantastic city and one of the most visited places in the world. The capital offers everything from historic architecture to funky districts. Many visitors to London choose to stay in cool hotels London or unusual hotels London to make their stay a little more interesting. If you are planning to visit here are five great places to include on your list:

London Eye – The large slowing moving very large ferris wheel complete with glass pods is otherwise known as the London Eye. Located on Southbank, it seems that no visit to London is complete without a trip on the famous ride. The structure is is a giant 135-metre tall and offers superb views over London. If you thinking of going you should arrive early to get a ticket – the queues especially on sunny weekends and bank holidays can get very long!

Spitalfields market and Brick Lane – This is an very trendy part of London that is a great place for fashionistas and those wanting to be seen. The once shabby now gentrified area of the East end offers a great market on Sundays. Spitalfields has an amazingly eclectic range of stalls selling everything from vintage clothes to organic food. Just down the road is the fantastic Brick Lane and it’s famous curry houses mixed in with lots of hip bars and trendy fashion boutiques.

The Parks – London is actually one of the greenest cities in the world and has many great parks to choose from. For a more aesthetically pleasing park try Regents park with it’s pretty gardens and quaint boating lake. For a fun day out why not head to Hyde park? This is a great area for meeting up with friends for a picnic or just throwing about a frisbee.

Big Ben – This huge clock tower is the most iconic structure in London and one which dominates the skyline. It’s a real must see and probably best viewed sailing by on a chartered Thames boat trip. Just don’t forget to bring the camera!
