There are many things you can do and see in San Diego. The following list of places are only a few to name, but it’s definitely a good start. Even using public transportation can be an attraction, and it’s a good way to get to know the city. For $5 you can get a ticket that allows you to use their trolley and buses for an entire day.

In addition to riding the trolley or buses, it’s a good idea to rent a car. Maybe you want to visit a place located outside of San Diego or just want to save time. In case you should run into a car accident, you can be sure that one of the many San Diego towing companies will give you assistance in your time of need. Wherever you are in need of towing La Mesa or National City there will be services available.

Sea World San Diego

The Sea World water theme park is a fun-filled place for your family. With great water rides such as Shipwreck Rapids, Wild Artic and Journey to Atlantis you can expect to have a blast. If that’s not enough, there are amazing shows that feature sea creatures. Expect dolphins, whales and sea lions to astound you with their performance.

Gaslamp Quarter

The Gaslamp Quarter is a beautiful place you can enjoy simply by walking. If you want more, there are many shops you can visit, and at night you have a lot of bars and restaurants to choose from and spend your time.

San Diego Zoo

There’s a reason it’s called World Famous San Diego Zoo. With 800 different animal species and 4000 animals in total, this is a huge park. In addition to that, it has an arboreum full of rare plants. To make the most of your day, make sure to ride the guided tour bus. It covers 3/4 of the park.

You shouldn’t worry about parking, it’s for free. You can also get free admission if you visit on the first Monday of October. During this month you can get a free children ticket when you buy an adult admission.

Balboa Park

Balboa Park provides a perfect setting for a family day or a romantic date. With every building’s Spanish architecture, you’ll find it very enjoyable to spend time here. You can lie in one of the 8 beautiful gardens, or visit any of the 16 museums.

Many beaches

We could never leave out going to a beach in San Diego. There’s good weather for the most part of the year, so here are some beaches you should check out: Pacific Beach, Coronado Beach, Imperial Beach. If you’d like to visit a beach with a roller coaster there’s Mission Beach. We recommend that you visit La Jolla Cove. It’a beautiful small beach that stands out because it’s one of the most photographed in Southern California.
