Braided rugs are rugs that have been manufactured from braided lengths of twine or fabric. They are actually quite easy to manufacture, although they are time-consuming to make. This difference in price is more to do with the cost of labor and the uniqueness of the design than anything else.

Braided rugs look very good when made of wool, although these tend to be a little on the expensive side. Mid-blue and olive green are favored colors here, and you can get either plain rugs in those colors or rugs with one or two other colors woven alongside the blue or green for a different look.
These rugs are available in all sizes starting from the small two or three feet diameter ones to the really large ten feet ones. As you might expect, the larger ones cost proportionately more than the smaller ones. Oval is the most common shape although you also get round or square shaped ones.
